Our foundational commitment

AI should strengthen client trust—not put it at risk.

HandsOn AI teaches massage therapists to use artificial intelligence with professional boundaries, privacy awareness, human review, and respect for the deeply personal nature of care.

The core principle

The therapist remains responsible.

AI can help draft, organize, summarize, brainstorm, and explain. It cannot know your client, feel tissue, observe subtle responses, obtain meaningful consent, apply professional judgment, or take responsibility for your decisions.

Every therapist remains responsible for their own scope of practice, education, documentation, communication, referrals, and professional conduct.

HandsOn AI principles

Six rules we teach from day one.

01

Protect confidentiality

Do not casually paste identifiable client information, session notes, photos, recordings, or health details into consumer AI tools.

02

Keep humans in control

Review, personalize, and approve AI-generated material before it is sent, published, saved, or used in your practice.

03

Stay within scope

AI must never be used to diagnose, prescribe, medically assess, determine contraindications, or replace referral decisions.

04

Verify the output

AI can produce incorrect information confidently. Check anatomy, research claims, health information, citations, and professional language.

05

Communicate honestly

Do not make exaggerated promises, misleading claims, or imply that AI-generated material is personal clinical advice.

06

Use the right tool

When privacy, safety, consent, or professional judgment is at stake, pause and use qualified human expertise instead of automation.

The simple workflow

Pause. Check. Approve.

Every AI output should move through a simple professional review process.

  • Pause: Is this an appropriate task for AI? Does it contain private or sensitive information?
  • Check: Is the result accurate, clear, within scope, consistent with your values, and appropriate for the audience?
  • Approve: Edit it in your voice, remove unsupported claims, and only then share, save, publish, or act on it.

Learn the practical side

Safety is not a disclaimer. It is a professional skill.

The AI-Enhanced Massage Practice begins with a complete safety foundation before moving into practical tools.
